About Ogun State College of Health Technology


Ogun State College of Health Technology is a State-Government owned tertiary institution located at , Ilese-Ijebu,Ogun State, Nigeria. It currently has seven departments which are; Public Health, School of Public Health, Environmental Health, Community Health, Pharmacy and Med. Diagnostic Science, Health Information Management and Dental Health Sciences.


History of Ogun State College of Health Technology


The Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese-Ijebu was established in September, 1976 to train middle—level manpower for the delivery of Health Care Services. Thus becoming the first post-secondary educational institution in the state. In April 2006, the Governor of the State graciously signed the bill establishing the College into law making the College to assume a full Polytechnic status. The College programmes/courses are regulated by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and various professional health Boards/Councils which makes our training unique and holistic in health promotion.
