Before heading to St. Paul's Anglican Church Breadfruit, here are some helpful things to take along with you:
Like all early churches in Nigeria following the establishment of Christianity in the country, St. Paul’s Anglican Church Breadfruit, had modest beginnings. The church building began as a bamboo shed on the site where slaves were tied to the breadfruit trees en route to the Americas. Over time, it became the choice church for the hosting of state services in Lagos before the construction of the Cathedral, and has continuously improved into the apex Anglican church it is today.
As most Anglican Churches are known to do, they sometimes conduct services in the native Yoruba language. However at such times, they always have a translator for the benefit of non-Yoruba speaking worshipers.
