It was upgraded from a state game reserve to a national park in May 1999.
Built by Northern Nigerian Government. in 1999.
The Kamuku national park is home to a variety of wild life and fauna and was built to preserve rare plant species. The Kamuku people are notable for their pottery, weaving and mat making.
This is a very safe location.
