Freedom Park Description

History of Freedom Park

Freedom Park was built in October 2010 to commemorate the 50th-anniversary independence celebration. It is notable as a venue for diverse social events and recreation. It was designed and built by Theo Lawson to preserve the history and cultural heritage of Nigerians. 

Freedom Park is a Memorial and Leisure Park dedicated to the preservation of the Lagos colonial heritage and history of Her Majesty's Board Street prison.
