History of Freedom Park

This was built in October 2010to commemorate the 50th anniversary independence celebration. It is notable as a venue for diverse social events and recreation.

Freedom Park is a Memorial and Leisure Park dedicated to the preservation of the Lagos colonial heritage and history of Her Majesty's Board Street prison.
