About Lead City University Fondly called LCU by students and staffs alike, the University was established in 2005 by Eduserve Consult, an organization that has recorded remarkable achievements in promoting educational development at both tertiary and non-tertiary levels. Lead City University Admission Requirements The University offers admission into undergraduate, sandwich and postgraduate programmes. Admission requirements across these levels differ considerably. Nevertheless, we’ve compiled details on the general admission requirements. Admission Requirements For Undergraduates 100 level students: Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE O’LEVEL/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at no more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field of study. The 5 credits must compulsorily be in Mathematics, English and 3 other related subjects. 200 level students (Direct- entry): In addition to having the above requirements, you may also be required to; Have a minimum of two (2) A level passes or other equivalents in subjects related to the proposed field of study. A bachelor degree in relevant discipline is also acceptable. Have a minimum of five O’level credit passes in English and Maths and other related subjects. Candidates with awaiting results can also apply provided that the results will be available before resumption. Admission Requirements For Postgraduates The University offers very specific postgraduate courses which lead to recognized PGD and MSc degrees. These courses include: Computer Science Economics and Development Studies Mass Communication and Media Technology Biological Sciences Office and Information Management Business Administration Politics and International Relations Accounting and Finance Educational Administration Law, and Multidisciplinary Master of Business. As a prospective candidate seeking admission in any of the courses above, here are some of the documents you should have. A minimum of five (5) O’level passes in English, Mathematics and any other three. A bachelor’s degree from the University, or one recognized by the school with a minimum of a second class lower division for masters, and third class division for the postgraduate diploma.
