History of Mother Theresa Orphanage

This was established in 2007.

  • During her trip to Nigeria in 2016, the IMF Managing Director, Ms Christine Lagarde stopped by for a visit

Built by Chief Yeye Bolanle Philippa Dare in 2007.

One of the best and most famous orphanage in Nigeria, this is a sanctuary for motherless, abandoned, and the less privileged children, providing shelter and family care in a loving environment.

This is a very safe location.

Writer's Review

The environment in its entirety exudes such pleasantness and love, such warmth and compassion, every visitor cannot but get the impression he has walked into one big, closely-integrated family, rather than a house of isolated kids. The kids themselves are fun to interact with. Some are shy while others are unafraid to hold hands and take you on a tour of their home.

  • This is their home, the only home they have ever known. We give them maximum comfort and care and shower love upon each and every one of them so that they can grow up having a kinder and pleasant view of the world-Yeye Dare, Founder
