History of Didi Museum
The Museum was founded in memory of Edith Jibunoh (DIDI), late sister of the founder who died at an early age.
The institution was inaugurated by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano who is also the Charman of the Board of Trustees.
Built by Dr Newton Jibunoh. in 11 May 1893.
The first private non-profit museum in Nigeria opens its doors for you to see Nigeria through its works of paintings, sculpture and bronze statues from different eras.
This is a very safe location.
