Lagos
Eko Bridge was built in 1975 by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC. It is notable as the shortest of the three bridges linking the mainland with the island.
Eko Bridge located near the Ajegunle Creek crosses the Lagos Lagoon and so it is the preferred route for residents commuting to the island from the Apapa and Surulere regions.
This is a very safe location.
Commuters use this bridge regularly so it is always populated during work hours.
