Lagos
Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge was built on the 29th of May 2013. It links the Phase 1 area of Lekki with the Ikoyi district of Lagos.
The first cable-stayed bridge built in Nigeria, this formerly tolled bridge links Lekki Phase 1 with Ikoyi. Apart from vehicular traffic, it also serves as a recreational facility as fitness inclined residents use the wide curbs of the bridge for jogging, running and power walks, usually in the early mornings and evenings.
This is a very safe location.
It connects two upscale communities separated by water thereby reducing travel time.
Commuters and joggers use this bridge regularly.
