Patient admission rooms are fully contained suites composed of a spacious bedroom, bathroom, patient care equipment, TV, internet access, and one or two beds. Currently, only one patient is housed per suite. When necessary (in the case of younger patients) or at the request of the patient, the second bed in the room may be used by an adult relation of the patient. Many patients choose to take advantage of this provision so that the adult family member or friend can help to provide emotional and social support while the patient is receiving treatment. Patients may also request to have a room upstairs or downstairs, and the staff would usually consider such preferences as long as the requested room type is available.
