Central public health laboratory is a centre for spirometry, audiometry, blood banking and also drug and alcohol testing. The laboratory also offers diagnosis and various consultancy services. The Central Public Health Laboratories is also a WHO-designated (World Health Organisation) reference laboratory for the diagnosis of Measles, Rubella, and Yellow Fever for the southern zones of the Nigeria.
