Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba was established in 1907, Built by British Colonialists in 1907.
This is a hospital for mental medical issues and the mentally challenged. Called 'Yaba Left' by the young populace, it also houses an asylum, and a School of Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing.

Reason For Loving Place
Originally built as an asylum and called Yaba Lunatic Asylum, it has undergone changes at different points in its history. Now a full mental hospital manned with qualified and experienced medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other medical practitioners, it is run by the Federal Government.
