History of The Public Complaints Commission

The Public Complaints Commission was established after the Civil war which was between 1967-1970. It was established as a way to curb the activities of those in power then. They wielded so much power which was harmful to their subordinates and the citizens of the country. The Federal Government led by General Yakubu Gowon created a Civil Service reform panel which was headed by Late Chief Jerome Udoji.
