About The Nigerian Airspace Management AgencyThe Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) was established by the Nigerian government in 1999 as a statutory corporate body. The organisation is responsible for the provision of air navigation services throughout the Nigerian Flight Information Region including airports and air traffic control centres. The agency is based at Murtala Muhammed International Airport and also provides air traffic control, charting and consulting services. NAMA also has as part of its duties to develop the Nigerian airspace infrastructure to a level consistent with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices.
