History of The National Broadcasting CommissionThe NBC was originally set up in August 1992 by Decree 38 of that year. It was later amended as an Act of the National assembly by Act 55 of 1999 and tweaked further into what is now known as National Broadcasting Commission Laws of the Federation 2004. It has been headed by 6 different director-generals and is regarded as the overseer of all things broadcasting in Nigeria.
