ECOWAS Parliament Complex.
Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is a regional group of fifteen West African countries with a mission to promote economic integration across the region.
This is a very safe location.
Before heading to ECOWAS Parliament Complex, here are some helpful things to take along with you:
This magnificent complex houses the ECOWAS commission in Nigeria. A power house, it is the venue for ECOWAS related meetings, conferences and matters. In 2012, the then president of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan approved the rehabilitation of the complex including full re-roofing of the complex, reconfiguration of the plenary auditorium and the interpreters' booths to meet the taste and needs of a modern day legislature, provision of brand new elevators, among others renovations.
One of the most important structures in the country's power state, this is a breath-taking and majestic building shaped somewhat like the letter 'H'. While some parts can only be accessed by special pass, you can enjoy the sights at the public spaces. The structure is almost closely rivaled by the impressive gathering of Africa's Who-Is-Who that you will see walking the corridors.
