Okonni Wildlife Sanctuary

ABOUT
Jointly owned by the Edo government and the Nigerian conservation fund, the Okonni wild life sanctuary is home to a variety of endangered primates including chimpanzees and white-throated monkeys.Other animal attractions include bush-babies, buffaloes, porcupines and red river hogs.This was built in 1985. It is notable as a conservation center for endangered primate species.
