About IITA Forest Reserve The IITA ( International  Institute of Tropical Agriculture) Forest reserve  is a 350 hectares of land managed by the Natural Resource management department of the IITA. The IITA aims at providing solutions to the degradation of natural resources,hunger and poverty in Nigeria and Africa in general by preserving and properly managing the absolutely beautiful and highly diversified forest reserve which is home to over 200 birds species,440 plants used for medicinal purposes and over 220 butterfly species. Safety Safety at the forest reserve is of paramount importance,no threat to security here Things to Do There are a ton of things to do at the forest reserve and they include the following; 1. Ask for a forest reserve guide to show you around the reserve,you'll surely enjoy the adventure 2. Enjoy the cool and beautiful scenery at the reserve 3.Take lots of cool pictures,you'll never forget he memories 4. Take a cool plunge in the reserve swimming pool 5.
