The year was 1990, wild life and Mangrove forest of the south- western coast line were in decllne due to Urban development. In response to this threat, Lekki conservation center was birthed. Home to different endangered species of plant and wild life, it has become a top destination for picnics, bird watching and relaxation.
Why Was It Built?
to protect the wildlife and mangrove forests of Nigeria's South-West coastline from the threat of urban development.
