Lagos city polytechnic is the foremost privately owned polytechnic in Nigeria established by Engineer Babatunde Odufuwa in 1990 and it gained official recognition in 1995. Lagos city polytechnic offers both part time and full time courses to prospective students and provides National Diploma courses in Accountancy, Banking & Finance and Business Studies. The polytechnic is associated with the Lagos City Computer College.
