Emmanuel Alayande College Of Education was established in 1896, Built by Church Missionary Society in 1896.
The oldest teachers training college, and formerly known as St. Andrew's College, this is one of the apex teaching training institutes in the country boasting of a high and sought-after calibre of graduates.

Reason For Loving Place

Originally established as a Grade II Teacher Training College in response to the increase in demand for qualified teachers in the sprouting mission schools in Nigeria, over time it has been upgraded to a full-fledged College of Education. The facilities in the school range according to the different faculties the school has. It currently awards NCE degrees in 5 schools, which include Arts and Social Sciences, Education, Languages, Vocational and Technical Education, and Science.
