History of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Moshood Abiola Polytechnic was established in 1980. Built by Ogun State Government in 1980. Originally named Ogun State Polytechnic, the school was renamed to commemorate Moshood Abiola, the winner of the annulled June 12 presidential election. It is one of the frontline learning tertiary institution in Nigeria favored for its academic attainments and practical technological development.
