Built by the state government in 1974.
Formerly called School of Education, this is a tertiary education institution focused on research, teaching and training teachers for both intermediate and higher education sectors.

Visitors are welcomed by two admiring gates designed with the school logo on them. The college has an auditorium capable of taking hundred students at a time for lectures, lecture rooms, an ultramodern building for Educational Technology, and laboratories for sciences and similar subjects. There are students hostels built by the state government to ease students’ accommodation problem. There is also a large Multipurpose Hall that can accommodate 500 seaters, and a modern library has been constructed in response to the teeming population of library users.
