King's College was established in 1909.

Built by British Colonial Government in 1909.

One of the best known and oldest secondary school in Nigeria, this is a pioneering school known for molding intellectual giants as evidenced by its very impressive alumni.

    Formerly called King's School, KC has proved its educational quality for centuries and has passed the test of time as one of Nigeria's brightest schools. Socially, events hosted by the school have come to be seen as prominent social and sporting events where dignitaries and prominent alumni attend in style and class. Due to population constraints, the school was divided into two campuses; Main Campus in Tafawa Balewa and the Annex Campus in Victoria Island.

    Known and respected for their academic prowess and sporting talents, King's College is an all-male school and a brother school to Queen's College. Their uniform is White upon White, and passing Mission street, you can see into their hostels. The school is rich in history as one of the oldest schools in Lagos. Although over the years it suffered neglect and entered a state not befitting its status, the current administration have done much to restore it to its former glory.
