The Ogun State Hospital Management Board was established by the Ogun State Health Management Edict No. 6 of 1978 promulgated by the Military Government of the state then.It manages the 40 state owned secondary health facilities and has 5 health zones,it aims at providing the state with quality,effective,quantitative and affordable health care services.The board advises and recommends the state government on ways to increase the revenue and matters related to health care through the commissioner.
