Even though it usually is unsung when it comes to listing places that attract tourists, tourism here is actually peaking as more and more people come here every year to bask in the fun activities and sights that abound. These are some of the activities that have made Kebbi State an important state to visit.
Argungu International Fishing Festival
The Argungu International Fishing Festival has become a festival that attracts a lot of attention from both within the country and outside the shores of Africa. This fishing festival spans four days and the culture of the people is proudly exhibited during the event. The thousands of fishermen are seen standing like soldiers ready for a battle of who would catch the biggest fish in history with their traditional nets and gourds. This festival takes place at the Matan Fada River.
Uhola Festival
The Uhola Festival is an annual festival where the people gather at the Zuru Emirate to appreciate God for keeping them alive. You can participate in this festival if you come around December or January when the festival is taking place. A right of passage into adulthood usually occurs for many boys and girls at this festival. The event spans  two to three days and is filled with  dancing, singing, wresting and exhibition of arts and creativity.
The Karishi Traditional Settlement
The Karishi Traditional Settlement has become one of those places where civilization is yet to take a toll on. The people are quite averse to western civilization which is what makes them unique. The place is a hilly landscape with fencing to keep off invaders, with the support of its watchmen. The ruler of this kingdom can only be seen once a year during its festival.
The Tomb of Abdullahi Fodio
Abdullahi Fodio was the brother of Sheikh Usman Danfodio , the great jihadist. Fodio had joined the cause and fought to support his brother in the 19th century. He was the one who founded the Gwandu Empire. His tomb can still be seen in this place where he was once a ruler.
The Girmace Shrine
You would see a traditional shrine that is enveloped by thick trees. There are crocodiles in the water that is found here. This is a place of worship that is respected by the natives. Special requests are made in this shrine that is located in Zulu.
