Dutse International Airport was established in 2014, Built by the state government in 2014.
Architecturally beautiful and strategically sited to connect Jigawa State with rest of the world, this is seen as one of the most beautiful and modern airports in Nigeria currently. With the standard of the terminal, the tarmac and runway, the seven-storey control tower, a fire service station, access roads, Arrival and Departure sections, with some parts fully air conditioned, the airport is a masterpiece and pride to all Nigerians.
