Most of thr rooms were unclean with dirty walls, leaking toilets. The housekeepers were doing selective cleaning. Dirty water running from tap, AC not working properly. Water heater not working.

Terrible experience for an hotel in upscale Lagos. Very poor service. Dirty towels and toilet. Bad breakfast, limited menu. Mosquitoes were our partners for the two nights.

It was fine but the room had some strange odor, the room was not a satisfying one.... but the environment was calm and nice, neat and relaxing, but their services there were very bad.

The room was okay, just that the room is not as much as it is on your platform, the reality is few rooms and big.

There was no water in the morning so I couldn't take my bath and the did not have the food I ordered

The bathroom light,heater,air conditioner wasn't working am so much disappointed.

I would recommend going to the Beni Gold Hotel and Apartments, it’s fun and relaxing. Excellent service and customer care, It’s a wonderful experience.

I spent 7days and the shortest time I waited for food to be delivered was 1hr, honestly I'm not exaggerating. It was really annoying, they need to know what time management is about.

The first room I was in the AC wasn't cooling. The second room I was moved to, the AC was dripping water. I'm not sure I would visit here again.

It all went well, the only bad sides were, I couldn't change the TV channels as it was showing just one channel and I had a dirty carpet in my room.

My experience at Beni Gold Hotel was horrific. I entered the room and was met by roaches immediately. Bedding's not changed after the last lodger checked out, dirty bed spread and smelly pillows. The TV stations were not clear and the remote was not working. The reception was so disorganized with room keys misplaced. No foot wears in the room and WiFi not stable.

My stay at the hotel was not pleasant. I noticed rats running in and out of the room. I reported to the workers but they did not act surprised. I took it to mean that they knew about the issue but refused to solve it.

The hotel is so over rated and doesn't provide enough service that deserves the rooms price tags, I Checked in on 23rd December 2018. The rooms are small, you can barely move around comfortably. The toilets need maintenance. Its so small and the bathing stand had no doors, when you are having your bath water splashes all over the bathroom/ toilet floor. I found out that the toilet wasn't properly flushed when I got in. The wardrobe size and configuration should be looked into. The TV in the room I stayed was bad, it was just not fit for purpose .

The room settings is okay, though rooms of this magnitude should have atleast hangers at the wardrobe. Something has to be done in the bathroom because it needs some maintenance. Sport channels would be fair rather than these SHOWCASE channel with outdated indigenous movies.

I am currently there and I am not enjoying my stay. There is epileptic power supply, the AC is not in perfect condition, the floor is not clean enough, the television channels are always being tampered with. How can there be up to 3 sports channels, even the only channel that had African Magic Epic was turned to sports again. Nothing was done even when I complained. The staff are really nice. If not that am desperate, I would have left and also leave the money for them.

I stayed at the hotel and I had a few issues there. The room rates displayed on the website was entirely different from the amount I was asked to pay at check in. If not that I had extra cash, I would have been stranded with nowhere to go. This incident really destablised me and I was not happy about it. The services rendered were okay tho and the food served was good. The hotel should always notify one in time of change in rates.

My stay was okay.However, I have a few issues that I would like to point out about the hotel. There was no refridgerator in the room, there was no microwave as well. Honestly, my stay at the hotel was not so great. I made a reservation for a room for three guests which was already confirmed but on getting to the hotel, the room given could only serve two guests. The hotel was not ready at all for my arrival. The front desk officers delayed me for over an hour at the reception before checking me into the hotel. I requested for it to be changed immediately but the cleaner argued greatly with me that the bed sheet was clean enough. She spoke to me rudely and did not even bother to apologize. I felt highly disrespected but I kept my calm since I was just going to stay there for a night. The customer service is really really bad and the hotel is not clean enough!

At least I am glad it was not the room I checked into or at least the hotel that was flooded. I had a sound sleep because the room was fully air-conditioned and comfortable. My stay was anticlimax compared to the reviews and rating of the place. It was really dirty. The bathroom tiles were stained and had turned off white. There was a very dinghy feel to the room. Even the door to the room was old and appeared like it had been forced open on multiple occasions. At best it can be rated 2 over 5. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for a place with a clean feel to it. I couldn't wait to check out...

I am very pleased with the hotel's services and their facilities. They are always on point and never disappoint. I enjoyed the customer service and they have not given me any reason to stop coming here. The experience here is always awesome.

I checked in on the 24th of June, 2017 and paid for two nights. I booked more than two weeks in advance and requested for Andre Rose to be made available on my check in. Instead of the requested Andre Rose, they brought Moet Rose and opened it before I noticed it was Moet. I had to pay for what I neither requested nor budgeted for. Any time I step out of the room and close the door, it will jam and refuse to open from outside. I had to call the porter twice. The AC was not functioning properly. I sweated all through the night! The Oha soup I was served that night was the worst I had eaten in my whole life! When I complained of all these things, little or no attempt was made to fix things. I killed at least three cockroaches in the night. After the first night, I had enough and decided to check out instead of spending another night in such conditions . I informed the receptionist and demanded for a refund of the second night as I won't be staying. She refused and told me there's no money to give me. I dropped my bank account details and left. I kept calling almost on a daily basis to remind them, but it's one excuse or the other. I finally got the refund yesterday.

I usually use this hotel because it quiet and neat. The staff are friendly and receptive. Everything about it to an extent is good but my last stay wasn't so enjoyable. The room that was reserved for me was so uncomfortable and choked up. I want to believe that this will be a one time thing and that next time would be better.

They acted so indifferent saying it has been awhile anyone complained of bedbugs and that they would send someone to spray the room. No one came to the room until about 15 mins later, all this while the bedbug was strolling on the bed. I started packing my things, my friend also packed her stuff. Someone from the hotel came and sprayed the bug and it died. I asked that they change our room and that they spray the room with insecticide before we move there. It took forever for them to get the room ready for us go in, and we asked for new sheets. We were in the room with bugs waiting for the smell of the spray to subside and they kept asking us to leave the room. Of course we did not leave until we felt the smell had subsided. When we got into the room, the smell was still very strong, so we asked to go back to the other room to stay awhile because we were literally suffocating in the room. The receptionist said she would send the key. We stood in the hallway like homeless ladies for well over 15 mins waiting for the key to be brought up. When no one came, I went to the reception and started screaming. And was informed by the bell boy that the reception refused to give him the key. It was only after I shouted and requested for my money back that they gave us the key. Long story short, the entire ordeal lasted from to 12 am to past 2 am in the morning. The receptionist was so nasty and extremely unhelpful. The other receptionist was loosening her hair while we were in front of her. Customer service was horrible and only the bellboy was sympathetic and helpful. I would never stay here again or recommend that anyone to do so. Lesson learnt: I would never pay for more than one night in any hotel in Nigeria, unless I have enjoyed the first night because they will never refund your money if you decide to leave.

The room painting is looking very awkward, the bathroom was really small and always got flooded after having my bath as the floor was not well structured. The meals were okay but I really enjoyed the environment. I think the room paintings should be changed and the bathroom should also be fixed to attract more customers.

Stayed for 1 month plus at this hotel. Very good customer service, polite staff, rooms were large enough with wardrobes, safes, cold air con, mini fridge, power supply was constant, rooms were cleaned everyday, free breakfast buffet was very upmarket. A selection of Nigerian, European and Asian dishes. Facilities include swimming pool, gym, sauna and spa. The parking was secure and included in the room rate. I have found a place to stay and enjoy when in Nigeria.

I was shocked that the fridge in the room was working because most fridges placed in rooms are decoration but the one in my room worked.The only problem I have is that the switch wasn't placed close to the bed for me to charge my phone. It is a really nice hotel, the rooms are good and I enjoyed my stay but the water that was coming out from the bathroom was brownish in colour. At least, I was able to use this to have my bath but I could not use it to brush my teeth so I had to buy water. It is important for them to look into this because it is risky when people put something like that in their mouth.

The hotel was not too okay. The building I stayed was not sound proof because the noise was just too much. I had problems with the bathroom and there was even no was no shower gel. When one of the staffs came to change the bed sheets, she did not even bother to change the pillow case. They lack maintenance and their services are poor. The staffs take their time in responding to requests. I told them to get me something and the cloth on the tray was dirty which was really bad. I am surprised that lots of people go to the hotel because it is not what is being advertised.

When i got to the hotel I had to wait about 20 minutes before I could be checked into a room. The room was not cleaned and was smelling. I had to wait another 30 minutes before I was finally checked in to a room. I think the hotel should be more organised than what I experienced at check-in. Besides that, I think everything else is quite alright with the place.

The hotel is okay, although I didn't enjoy my stay very much. The rooms were quite small and the air-conditioner in the room I was in was leaking. But all in all, the hotel is okay. The staff answered promptly and were swift in making changes.

I don't even know where to start from, first I asked for the new wing and I was given the old wing. Myself and my husband were disappointed when we got there. The old wing is lame and everything we asked for in the kitchen was not provided, my husband was angry, our rooms had to be changed three times and we still were not satisfied. I think they should scrap the old wing. The staff were a let down, to be honest. The day we were to check out they were asking for money. Something has to be done about that place.

There is good parking and walking space within the hotel too, compared to some hotels that sometimes leave one feeling claustrophobic. I will really recommended this spot to anyone looking for an affordable hotel on the Island with good service and facilities - wifi, gym, 24hours dining, etc. The classic rooms are quite small but standard rooms are just right. Overall, for the FREE breakfast, good facilities, affordability and respectful staff, I'll definitely consider Beni Gold for my next visit to Lagos.

My stay was fantastic. Only issues I had was that the Intercom was not functioning even till i checked out, though the IT guys promised to fix it but to no avail. All the same, it was a great experience.
