Horrible place

I’m typing this review from the hotel room 113. I should be sleeping, but mosquitoes. No internet, restaurant not functioning, had to go out in the rain to get food. Rooms are just big with no aesthetic values. AC doesn’t work with generator. Poor television, security is as strong as the gate. There was power outage midnight and these guys didn’t put on the generator for over 3hours, damn mosquitoes had me for dinner. I’m never coming back here.

My stay at the hotel was very fine, I felt relaxed and good in the room except that the water heater in the bathroom was not working. Also the security people did not do well and were not punctual, this should be improved upon. The bar should also try to be versatile with their drinks as I did not get the exact brand I requested. However, my stay was nice and I will still be coming back soon.

I think this is the best hotel in Abakaliki. I have stayed in some of other hotels but Gracecourt hotel & Suites has an edge in terms of amenities, efficient services and friendly understanding which the staffers exhibits. Their weekend groove last weekend was fantastic. It has been my permanent hotel for now.
