The hotel is one of the worst I have ever visited. The rooms had a terrible smell and there was no air conditioning, despite what they advertised. They refused to change my room and took over two months to refund my money. They are scammers.

My stay was good....the environment was so calm...

It was not pleasant, they have only two TV channel. The bathroom was bad too.

My stay at the hotel was bad. I did not enjoy my stay there. The environment was not so nice. Water did not run in the bathroom in the morning. Even the room that I was given did not match what I expected. I really did not enjoy the services rendered at the hotel.

The hotel is okay but they need to upgrade the restaurant to a modern facility. Friendly and Professional staff. Not a bad place at all but the management can make it better. The environment is also clean and conducive to stay in with a good ambiance

This hotel looks very creepy - has anyone noticed the rooms don't have burglary proofs? Am I old school? No burglary proofs in Nigerian Hotel? Haba! I also discovered that the door access restriction chain in the room they finally moved me is broken. I don't know how people feel safe in this hotel.

Although the staff were friendly, I still didn't have a good time at this hotel. To start with, there was so much noise at night that one could hardly sleep. Also, the toilet in the room I stayed was in a terrible state. I was so irritated and uncomfortable that I wished I hadn't come to the hotel in the first place.

My stay at DOWNTOWN ROYAL HOTEL was satisfactory and enjoyable, the room was clean and beautiful with all the facilities functional, excellent staff and they were dutiful. Water and power supply was constant, delicious and affordable cuisine and efficient security service. I enjoyed my stay and will visit again.

Everything went well at the hotel, my room was really spacious and comfortable with lovely bed and pillows. The room service was superb and their staff were well behaved. Water and power supply was uninterrupted and food was affordable and tasty. I am just totally impressed with the management of the hotel and I will rate them 9/10.

My stay was okay, the room service was great. My room and toilet was tidy. All hotel personnel that attended to me were very polite and helpful, they all saw to my needs and treated me like royalty.

The spacious room was of high standard. It was beautiful, clean, modern and cozy, the bed also was very comfortable, the toilet and bathroom were well equipped. I fell in love with the room as soon as I opened the door. Room service and Housekeeping were prompt, polite and they fulfilled all my requests. I would love to visit again.

Initially the first room was not good. The room was stuffy and the toilet system was bad. The internet was not working and I wanted to check out of the hotel but a second room was later given and that was okay. After this, everything later went fine.

It was a nice place, I enjoyed my stay, though I had to change my room because the first room I checked into was not so nice, but after that every thing was great. I had a wonderful three nights to rest, to relax and also had fun. The breakfast was always free which I think its a great idea, the meals that came later were also nice. I really enjoyed my time and I'm looking forward to coming around for a longer stay this time.
