The hospitality is top notch. The ambience is beautiful. The staff are welcoming. I had a great stay.

The room rates are quite reasonable and the rooms were spacious for a hotel located in the heart of the city. It's fairly new with better ambiance than the older places nearby, like Eastern Comfort and Damgrete. We slept very badly however, because the mattresses in the rooms we took, including a Presidential suite were solid rocks. The air conditioning chugged along but wouldn't cool the rooms, even overnight. The TVs were unusable because the signals were bad. They did switch to the generator set when the power went out. The shower is not enclosed and is inches away from the toilet, so you're basically showering a foot away from the toilet bowl. You have no choice here because the tub doesn't work. We also asked for a second bed. We got a plain mattress tossed on the floor and couldn't use that, since we didn't get any extra sheets or pillows.
