Very bad stay ever!

Very Good5

I stayed in this apartment from the 11th Dec. 2018 till 3rd Jan 2019. Generally, the apartment looks good from the outside and inside and the location is great as well. Going to VI is very easy from the location as there is no need to go through Lekki toll. However, the bad experiences started from the 1st day. On checking in, the whole place was very dusty and so unkempt, there were no cutlery in the kitchen until the afternoon of the day we checked in. Two boys 'both Jerry' are in charge of cleaning and taking care of the apartments but customers or clients satisfaction is not their main priority but their boss's. Things got worse during my stay at this apartment, as many things I complained about were not fixed even after a week. No washing machine, no frying pan and no internet. I rented 2 apartments at almost 2.3m Nigeria rate and like 1.7m was paid before I checked in. A week after I checked in, the owner of the house 'who I didn't know at all or have any business dealings with' called my phone! She apologized for the washing machine issue and also requested for the balance. I promised to pay the agent the balance when services got better. Same day, I paid some and the left over was like 300k. I called the agent to inform him that if what they promised to render were not delivered, I won't pay them the balance and I was already frustrated with the agent, the cleaning boys and the owner. I went on a two days journey and on getting back, I discovered that the mini Internet they provided for the apartment was gone. They took it and gave a new guest that just moved in. I was told by the cleaning boys that their madam had not been paid by the agent and that's why services had been worse. IMAGINE! For those two days, my wife and my kids had been bought like 80k worth on data from the mobile network we were using. As at this time, I only had to pay 25k and 50k deposit, meaning that more than 2m naira had been paid already hoping things will get better but it only got worse. Internet was never replaced till I checked out on the 3rd January 2019. In total, I spent more than 300k of my personal money for internet. I refused to pay that balance till I checked out and the worst of it all, my money was stolen and there was no water treatment available. The water was so brown in colour. In conclusion, this owner shouldn't be in the short-let business at all as customer satisfaction is not their main priority. She called me to complain about her agent 'which is none of my concern anyway' but failed to even call when she was told by her agent that my things got stolen. I will not wish my worst enemy same experience I went through staying in this apartment and those who want to book it should be very vigilant when renting this apartment. Will I stay in this apartment again? NEVER EVER! Not even for free.

Clean and convenient location

Very Good10

This place is as advertised. Clean, comfortable, easy commute, and well secured. I stayed here in Jan/Feb and planning to go back again sometimes this year. I couldn’t have asked for more. Very on point.
