Germany is one of the best European countries where people can pursue a higher education. Germany is known for having top-notch quality in its educational field. There is a guarantee of the quality of higher education, research infrastructure, teaching methodology, low-cost studies, and career prospects.

In 2014, a law was passed for 16 states in Germany to abolish the payment of tuition fees for undergraduate students; both local and international undergraduates can study for free in certain states of Germany. However, some people might pay small fees to cover costs per semester and administration. Generally, education in Germany is relatively cheap compared to other European countries. Germany ranks number 3 on the list of the Most Affordable Places to Study Abroad.
