  2. Visit Visa
    Visit visas are issued to persons who want to visit friends, family or attend business meetings and conferences. There are two types of Dubai visit visas. They are the short term visit visa and the long term visit visa. The short term visit visa is valid for 30 days, and the long term visit visa is valid for 90 days. The visit visa cannot be renewed. If a visitor needs to return to the country, he/she would need to re-apply for a visa again.
  3. Tourist Visa
    The tourist visa is issued to persons whose sole intention is to explore the city. The visa is valid for 58 days from the date of issuance, but the duration of stay is 30 days from the date of entry into Dubai. The traveller needs to provide the itenary for the journey, and also proof that they are financially capable of footing the necessary bills – accommodation, feeding, and other maintenance costs.
  4. Transit Visa
    The transit visa is issued to travellers who intend to stopover at Dubai for at most 4 days before heading to their final destination. The transit visa is valid for 96 hours. The applicant would need to attach the visa for the main destination he/she intends to travel to.
  5. Service Visa
    Service Visas are issued to businessmen, representatives of companies, professionals having crucial meetings in Dubai. The service visa is valid for a maximum of 14 days from the date of entry into the country.

To be eligible for a Dubai visa from Nigeria, applicants must meet at least one of these requirements:

  1. Applicants should have a travel record to UAE, USA, UK, Schengen countries, Australia, New Zealand and Canada within the last 2 years. International passports can serve as proof.
  2. Applicants should have a letter from a Nigerian bank stating that they have funds that would suffice for their trip.
  3. Applicants should provide their original account statement as well as salary pay slips.
  4. Applicants should make a refundable Security Deposit of 1550 US dollars.
  5. Applicants should have a letter of invitation from a relative living in Dubai. For a spouse-invite, a Marriage certificate would be needed, and for a Child-invite, a Birth certificate would be needed.

In addition to meeting any of the above requirements, applicants should have the following documents.

  1. Valid international passport
  2. Employment contract of the sponsor
  3. Proof of family relationship
  4. Travel insurance
  5. Copy of confirmed flight booking
  6. Bank approval letter
  7. Passport-sized color photographs
  8. Visa fee receipt
  9. Visa application form

How to Submit Dubai Visa Application
