3 Quick Steps for Nigerians Looking for Visas to Ukraine

If you are wondering how to get a visa to Ukraine, then you are definitely at the right spot.
If you follow these steps, then you are a step away from getting into Ukraine!

1. Identity what kind of traveler you are: There are three major kinds of Ukrainian visas, so knowing the type you need should be your first step!

The Ukrainian Visa types are: Transit, Short Term, and Long term.

-Transit Visa: This Visa is issued to foreign citizens who are passing through Ukraine to another destination. It is usually valid for 5 days, and yeah! You can apply for multiple entries within the period of one year.

-Short-term visa (VC): It is a non- petition based visa, which will allow you stay in Ukraine for less than 90 days within a 180–day period. This visa will be issued as a one-entry, two-entries and multiple-entries valid for the period of up to 5 years.

- Long-term one-entry visa (VD): It is a petition-based visa, which could be issued for applicants entering Ukraine with the purpose of obtaining documents permitting stay in Ukraine for the period of longer than 90 days. Within 45 days from the moment of entry into Ukraine, the holder of a long-term one-entry visa should legalize his status in Ukraine. For those of you wishing to Study in Ukraine, do note that a student visa is also a long term one entry visa!
Now that you know what kind of traveler you are, the next step is to;

2. Get a Valid Passport This should not be much of an assignment. It just needs you to get to the passport office within your vicinity.
If you are reading this article and you already have a valid passport, make sure that there are at least two blank spaces in it. They would be stamped eventually. So be aware!

3. Obtain a Visa application form It is very important to properly fill this form and sign it. The form is printed from the Embassy's website.

The carefully filled Visa application form along with all other documents specified on the Embassy's site should be taken to the embassy on the day of the interview.
