<Funny Story Competition> My Funny Experience in America

In 2008, I travelled to the United States for the first time. I decided to hit enjoy the countryside and so I began my journey from Atlanta to Ohio via GREYHOUND Bus. We got to a particular state for stop over or layover and decided to buy some snacks. When it was my turn, I told the lady that I wanted to buy “Chicken & Chips”. To my amazement, she said they didn’t have….I said no way, this is it right in front of me…She said NO…..It was the lady behind me who came to my rescue by saying in Africa, we call it chicken and chip, but here its “french fries”…….So, I repeated my order, Please ma’am, could you give me french fries? We both started laughing….. what has chips got to do with French and France………
