Man Dies on Arik Flight From Owerri to Lagos

LAGOS – Mr Albert Nnadi, 57, has died aboard an Arik Air flight from Owerri to Lagos on Wednesday.

He was said to have been found dead at the point when passengers were disembarking from the plane at the Murtala Muhammed Domestic Airport Terminal One, Lagos.

According to a relative of the deceased, Damien Nwachkwu, who accompanied him on the flight, Albert was traveling to Lagos to seek medical treatment for obesity.

The incident was confirmed by Arik Air in a statement by its Communications Manager, Mr Ola Adebanji stating that “The body of the man has been deposited in the mortuary by the Police, while investigation into the immediate cause of death is ongoing” .
