You can visit Kainji Lake National Park from different parts of the country. It is situated between the Borgu-Zugurma sectors of Kwara State. There is diverse wildlife here such as the hippotamus, kob, antelope, and lions to name a few. There are cultural and ethno-historical sites too.  This is not the Kainji Lake oil hydroelectric complex, but they are closely linked. You do not need to worry about seeing huge electric poles and installations here. There is life here besides electricity.

There is a river running through the center of the park that hasn’t been altered for those who want to see nature’s beauty.  There are greenhouses for tropical birds and butterflies.  This is one park you would love to visit with family, friends, or a partner.
