Escravos Airstrip is located in Warri, Delta State. It serves Chevron's Escravos Oil Terminal and some towns in Warri. Warri is a fast developing city in Delta State. Its population is realtively large. Also, it is a major industrial area in the state.
The airport was built solely to serve the needs of the Escravos Oil Terminal. Since the airport started operations, the rate of economic activities in the city has increased tremendously. Warri has also become more accessible to the rest of the world.
